Planet solar à Bouregreg Marina

Bouregreg Marina is open from April 16 to 20, 2013 to host the Planet Solar, the largest solar boat in the world that starts from Rabat her transatlantic crossing.

Catamaran operated exclusively through the energy in light, PlanetSolar, the largest solar boat in the world, runs on 537 m² of photovoltaic surface. Tûranor christened PlanetSolar which means “power of the sun,” that clean and quiet vessel was launched in March 2010 in Kiel, Germany, in the shipyard KnierimYachtbau after 14 months of construction.

This unique and innovative project advantageously illustrates the contribution of Switzerland in favor of environmental protection and sustainable development on the one hand and the interest of the Kingdom of Morocco in general and in particularBouregreg project from its launch in January 2006, the environmental component across all actions to protect and safeguard the environment.
