The 9th Board of Directors of the Agency for the Development of the Bouregreg Valley was held today Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the headquarters of the Prime Minister, under the chairmanship of Mr. AbdellilahBenkirane, Head of Government and Chairman of Board of the Agency. Took part in this event several members of the government, authorities and elected officials of the city of Rabat and Salé, civil society personalities, as well as the Chief Executive and Directors of poles of the Agency.

After welcoming remarks from Mr. President of the Board, a presentation was made by Mr. LemghariEssakl, CEO. This focused on the various achievements of 2011, including the circulation of the Rabat tramway -Sale and opening the Hassan II Bridge and Tunnel Oudayasto the public. Mr. Essakl also presented the progress of various ongoing projects; among others, the work of the city Bab Al Bahr, and the development of the sequence Al Saha Al Kabira, rehabilitation of Bab Mrissa and construction of the new bridge Moulay Youssef.

Several issues were discussed during the council, particularly the need to ensure continuity in the Project Bouregreg development strategy, particularly in regard to mobility infrastructure and future development projects in various economic sectors , tourist, cultural, social and environmental.

Praising the success of the achievements of the 2006-2011 program contract object, the Chairman of the Board of Directors proposed the establishment of a new program covering the period 2012-2016 contract between the Agency for Valley Landscaping Bouregreg, the State and the various partners. The settlement terms of the new contract program will be presented to the President of the Board in the coming days and validated with key partners.
