Bouregreg Marinaorganized from 3 to 8 May 2011 the first meeting of the Women of the World, in the presence of representatives of 25 countries of the Maghreb, Europe and Asia.

The meeting was inaugurated by His Highness Princess LallaOumKalthoumAlaoui, national coordinator of Morocco’s Women’s Union, who visited the different stands of handicrafts exhibition made by women.

This event, organized to mark the 42th anniversary of Morocco’s Women’s Union, this event is seeing as an opening  on universal cultures promoting contact between women artisans from different countries.
