In the context of the construction works of the tunnel Oudayas, the Agency of Bouregreg conducted Saturday, October 9, 2010 the drilling of the last section of the tunnel, this operation was announcedat a ceremony that began at 9:00 am, in the presence of the press print and broadcast.

This transaction represents a very important step in the life of this project since it concerns the most difficult part of the works.The plan of recovering the historical monuments, which was madethrough several steps and required the use of advanced technologies, has definitely proved its efficiency in this last phase of work.

Note that the Oudayas Tunnel will extend over a length of 1.2 km from the roundabout of Bab Al Bahr. The tunnel work began in April 2007, with a budget of 491 million DH. The opening of the tunnel is planned for late 2010.
